Relocation Allowance

Moving is never easy, but it is often expensive. To help offset expenses to physicians, Nova Scotia offers a Relocation Allowance.

Doctors who set up a full-time practice in the province, outside of the metro area, are reimbursed up to $5,000 for eligible moving expenses including air fare, car rental, moving costs and accommodation. These expenses must receive prior approval.
