


Under the Debt-Assistance Plan, physicians who choose to practice in certain specialties or areas of Nova Scotia receive between 20-thousand and 45-thousand dollars for up to three years based on specialty of practice and number of years since graduation.
New medical school graduates in family practice or designated specialties, and graduates of medical schools in Atlantic Canada and Nova Scotia residents graduating from other Canadian medical schools are eligible.
