Nova Scotia is nestled between latitudes 44° and 47° and has a temperate climate. Summer temperatures range from daytime highs of 20-25°C (68-77°F) to evening lows of 10-14°C (50-57°F). Sea breezes drifting in from the surrounding Atlantic Ocean keep temperatures on our coasts pleasant. Inland, temperatures are often warmer by as much as 5°C (10°F).
Winter brings with it a mix of ice skating outdoors and hot chocolate indoors. In spring the apple blossoms emerge in the Annapolis Valley. Nova Scotia is renowned for our fall, when glorious sun-kissed days invite you to explore the back roads under a canopy of autumn leaves.
