The Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation fosters health research throughout the province by assisting, collaborating with, and funding individuals and organizations conducting health research.
In its most recent grants competition, approximately $3 million in funding for health research was allocated to more than 50 researchers, including established scientists and students. These funded applicants in Nova Scotia's largest health research competition are exploring everything from breast cancer cells, autism spectrum disorder, anti-psychotics, ovarian cancer, maternity care, and bone marrow.
