Internationally Educated Health Care Workers

Nova Scotia welcomes immigrants and internationally-trained Canadians to join our health-care community.

Through the Internationally Educated Health-care Professionals Initiative (IEHPI), we're working with the federal government to allow more of these practitioners to put their skills to work in our province. Together, we're developing ways to integrate providers in a number of practice areas including pharmacy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, medical laboratory technology, and medical radiation technology.
