Nova Scotia is making major advances in primary health-care reform. The transition will take time, but our direction is clear and our plan is well underway. A number of initiatives are already up and running:
Diversity and Social Inclusion in Primary Health Care
This three-year plan is raising awareness about the importance of diversity and social inclusion.
Building a Better Tomorrow
This federally-funded initiative is assessing, developing and delivering the training and skills health-care providers will need in the new Primary Health Care system.
Primary Health Care Information Management Program
Nova Scotia's electronic patient record will allow primary health care providers to maintain patient records electronically and access patient information from anywhere.
