Nova Scotia Nursing Strategy

The Nova Scotia Nursing Strategy is our comprehensive and coordinated approach to enhancing the quality of work life for nurses. Through it we're making sure that Nova Scotia has what it needs to keep experienced nurses here and to attract high-caliber recruits.

In the last five years, we have invested more than $60-million in the first phase (PDF) of this initiative. As we move into the second phase, we will create even more opportunities for nurses by focusing on Renewal, Retention and Recruitment.
